Artoberfest 2025

Artoberfest is a juried fine arts festival benefiting the Arts Association of Oldham County (AAOC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The festival takes place outdoors at the John W. Black Center at Wendell Moore Park in La Grange, KY, featuring artist booths, food vendors, entertainment, children's activities, demonstrations, and adult beverages. The event will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm. Check-in and set-up is Friday, October 10 from 11 am to 6 pm. Admission is free.

Artist Categories include: Ceramics, Consumables, Drawing, Digital Art, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Metal/Blacksmithing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood. Each booth space is 10' x 10' and requires a white tent provided by the artist. Artists must be present and available throughout both days of the show. Only original artwork created by the artist is eligible; buy/sell vendors, mass-produced items, and kits are not permitted. Booths will be audited during the show to maintain quality standards.

Awards include ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. Best of Show receives an award ribbon, $300 cash prize, and a free booth space for Artoberfest 2026, plus featured artist status with artwork displayed in promotions and media. The application deadline is September 22, 2025. A $25 jury fee is required with each application. Applicants must submit 3 product images, 1 booth image, and 1 work space/studio image. Early bird discounts are available for applications submitted between December 3, 2024 and May 20, 2025. AAOC members also receive a discount. The festival offers Friday check-in and set-up, free artist brunch Saturday and Sunday, booth sitters, security, onsite parking, and discounted hotel rates in La Grange.
