Artoberfest 2025

Artoberfest is a juried Fine Arts Festival benefiting the Arts Association of Oldham County (AAOC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Set outside at the spacious John W. Black Center at Wendell Moore Park in La Grange, KY, the event includes food vendors, entertainment, children's activities, Emerging Artists, demonstrations and adult beverages. Artist booth space is limited to outdoor spaces with 10' x 10' WHITE tents (artists provide their own tent). The festival takes place Saturday, October 11, 2025 (10am-5pm) and Sunday, October 12, 2025 (10am-4pm), with Friday check-in and set-up from 11am-6pm.

This is a juried event for artists displaying their own original works. Artists must be present throughout both days of the show. Categories include Ceramics, Consumables, Drawing, Digital Art, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed-Media, Metal/Blacksmithing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood. Awards include ribbons for 1st-3rd place in each category, with Best of Show receiving an award ribbon, $300 cash prize, and a free booth space for the following year. The festival offers early bird and AAOC member discounts, free artist brunch on Saturday and Sunday, booth sitters, security, onsite parking, and professional marketing.

Application requires a $25 jury fee and 5 images total: 3 product images, 1 booth shot, and 1 workspace/studio image. Artists may exhibit in up to two categories but must jury and pay fees for each. Booths will be audited during the show to ensure quality original artwork and exclude buy/sell vendors. The application period runs from December 30, 2024 to September 22, 2025, with early bird discount dates from December 3, 2024 to May 20, 2025.
