ArtLink Seeks Gallery Proposals

Artlink is accepting proposals for solo, group, and curated exhibitions. Exhibition proposals will be reviewed once a year by the Artlink Artist Panel and Exhibitions Coordinator for consideration in the exhibition schedule for the following year. Those whose proposals are selected will be notified by email and provided with an exhibition contract. Proposals are reviewed for exhibition slots at least 1 year out, and it may take a few months after the deadline for notifications to go out to those with accepted proposals.

Proposal requirements include artist name, contact information, artist statement, artist bio, and an exhibition proposal of 250-500 words. For solo proposals, submit 8-10 images of work you plan to exhibit or images of past bodies of work if you intend to create new work, along with an image list including artist, title, medium, size, and price of each artwork. For group and curated proposals, submit 3-5 images from each artist with the same image list information. Images should be submitted as individual JPEGs or a PDF to the Exhibitions Coordinator, Ellen Mensch, at [email protected]. An entry fee of $25 per proposal is required.

The gallery space can be separated in various ways with moveable walls and can hold 1-3 exhibitions. Available features include 12 pedestals, 1 projector, 6ft and 8ft wall shelves, a grid ceiling capable of hanging work, and floor space. Time preferences and gallery area preferences are welcome as part of the submission process but are not guaranteed. The Artist Panel will review proposals with concept, cohesiveness, innovation, craftsmanship, and accessibility in mind. Artlink does not pay for artwork shipping or travel expenses for distant artists.
