Artists Who Teach 2020

Ellington-White Contemporary Gallery invites current and former visual art education professionals to submit entries for this national juried exhibition celebrating visual art educators. The exhibition runs September 19 - November 21, 2020, and will include both a physical gallery exhibition and an online virtual exhibition. All juried artists will exhibit online, and the exhibition juror will select works for the gallery display.

Eligibility is open to professional artists who are current or former art educators. All work must be original and completed within the last three years and not previously exhibited at Ellington-White Contemporary. Artists may submit a maximum of three original works. Work size must be between 12" x 12" and 48" x 60" including frame. All works must be properly framed, wired, and ready to hang. Entry fee is $35.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-3 images via CaFE online submission system by September 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Accepted works must arrive by September 18, 2020. Awards include cash prizes, a People's Choice Award, and Honorable Mentions. All work will be available for purchase with a 30% commission to the gallery. Jurors are Dwight Smith (image selection) and Vilas Tonape (exhibition and awards).
