ARTIST'S FAVORITE Special Event

Life in the West Art Gallery invites artists to participate in a juried exhibition featuring their favorite artworks. All styles of 2D and 3D artwork will be considered in the following categories: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital Art, Glassware, Ceramics, Wood Carving, Stoneware, and Metalwork. Jewelry is not accepted as jewelry cases are not available. Artwork will be juried by four professional artists. The exhibition showcases beautiful, intriguing, interesting, exciting, or mystic artworks and is family-friendly. Artwork may be traditional, contemporary, abstract, or other styles; subject matter is up to the artist.

Entry fee is $40 for up to 3 images. Original works of 2D and 3D art are preferred, but high-quality prints are acceptable. Wall hanging artwork may not exceed 48" in width (including frame) and must be gallery ready with wire for hanging. Sculptures must not exceed 60 lbs and ceiling suspended sculptures are not accepted. Acrylic or Plexiglas coverings are recommended instead of glass. Each selected artist may submit two additional miniature artworks up to 12"x12" at no additional cost. All artworks must be for sale and include a tag on the back with title, artist's name, and sales price. Artists retain 70% of sales; the gallery retains 30%. All accepted artworks will be insured for 70% of the sales price while on the premises.

Artwork delivery is the week of February 6-10, 2023 from 9am-5pm. Show dates are February 17-19, 2023. Artist notification is January 24, 2023. For local artists, unsold artworks may be picked up at show closing or February 20-21, 2023 from 9am-5pm. All other artworks will be shipped by February 24, 2023. Artists must include prepaid return shipping labels (FedEx preferred, UPS accepted). No packing peanuts are allowed. Artwork must be shipped in strong, reusable boxes. Artists will receive payment within 15 days of show closing. Eligibility is open to all artists residing within the USA.
