Artists & Collectors' Dinner & Exhibition

This exhibition invites artists to submit work for the 2023 Artists & Collectors' Dinner and Exhibition. Twenty-five selected artists will be invited to attend an exclusive evening event on Thursday, October 12, from 6-9 pm at the Cultural Center, where they will connect with 50 art collectors. Each selected artist will be paid $500 for two works of art (three works must be submitted). Collectors will take home original pieces through a lottery system, and the third piece will be displayed in a salon exhibition running October 10 - November 4, 2023, in the Cultural Center Boardroom and available for sale.

The dinner will feature an all-inclusive four-course meal with wine pairings prepared by resident chef Joe Cizynski. There is no designated theme; submissions should represent the artist's style, philosophy, and practice. A panel of jurors will select participating artists, with attendance at the Collector's Dinner required. The call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work must have been produced within the last five years, and all styles and aesthetics are considered. Content should be appropriate for all viewers.

Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry (up to 20 total). Submissions deadline is September 15, 2023 at 11:59 pm MDT. Notification of acceptance will be sent by September 19, 2023. Work delivery is due by October 2, 2023 (local drop-off or shipped). Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide pre-paid return labels. The Center charges a 30% commission on sales for members and 40% for non-members. Images must be submitted in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, maximum 5 mb file size.
