Artistry's 39th Annual Members Juried Show

Artistry's 39th Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition runs October 16 - November 27, 2015. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held Friday, October 16, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The exhibition is juried by Jehra Patrick, Program Director of MN Artists and Founding Director of Waiting Room Gallery.

Eligibility is open to all Artistry members aged 18 years or older who reside in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. A membership initiated after September 30, 2014 need not be renewed for this competition. Artwork must be original (no prints or reproductions) and ideally completed in the last five years. All visual art media is accepted, including photography, except film or video. Artwork must be dry, framed, and prepared for hanging. Maximum size for 2-D and 3-D work is 50" in any direction including the frame. One or two pieces of artwork may be submitted with a non-refundable entry fee of $15.

Artwork delivery for selected pieces is Saturday, October 10, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The exhibition closes Friday, November 27, 2015, and artists must pick up work Saturday, November 28, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Awards include a $500 Best of Show award, $150 Excellence awards in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional work, four $75 Merit awards, and four Honorable Mentions. Artistry receives a 25% commission on all sales. Accepted artworks are covered by Artistry's insurance for fair market value minus the 25% commission.
