About This Call
Artistonish invites artists to submit original artworks for publication in the magazine's 50th issue in September 2024. Artistonish is an international contemporary art magazine published by Discover the Artist media since August 2020. Each issue presents significant artworks from artists worldwide and is distributed in both online and high-quality print versions in full-color glossy A4 pages, accessible to thousands of art experts, collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts across 150 countries.
Artists can submit 1 to 6 original artworks. Submission is free of charge; a USD 45 selection fee applies only to selected artists. Selected artworks will be published in the September 2024 issue, with each artwork displayed on a separate glossy A4-sized page including artwork data, artist name and photo, and a scannable QR code linking to the artist's online profile. One artwork will be selected for the magazine's front cover. To celebrate the 50th issue, selected artists will receive a unique sales opportunity with their artwork exhibited and promoted on ARTSY, the largest global community of art collectors. All artists receive digital certificates, social media artwork badges, reader ratings and comments, analytic reports, and a lifetime active link to their online artist page. A money-back guarantee supports selection fee payments until the magazine's official release.
Open to all visual artists worldwide working in any medium, including painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, and more. Artworks must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, and preferably created within the past 5 years. Artists must have all rights for international publication. Artworks including pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or offensive content are not admissible. Entries must not be copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Maximum 2 artworks will be selected per artist. Jury selection uses a two-phase process: Yes/No selection followed by scoring from 1 to 10 by jury members.
