About This Call
Artistonish, an international contemporary art magazine published by Discover the Artist media holding since August 2020, invites artists to submit original artworks for publication in the magazine's 37th issue in August 2023. The magazine presents significant artworks from brilliant artists worldwide and reaches thousands of art experts, collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts, as well as museums and galleries from over 120 countries. Both online and high-quality print versions are released in full-color glossy A4 pages.
Artists can submit 1 to 4 original artworks in any medium, including painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, metalsmithing, installation, mixed media, and more. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant, executed without instructor supervision, and preferably created within the past 5 years. Artists must have all rights for publishing artworks internationally. Submission is free of charge; a USD 45 selection fee applies only to selected artists (maximum 2 artworks per artist). Selected artworks will be published with artwork data, artist name and photo, and a scannable QR code linking to the artist's online profile page. All artists receive digital certificates, social media artwork badges, reader ratings and comments, and analytic reports. Each artist receives a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform. Artworks must not include pornographic, violent, or hateful content, and must not be copies or derivatives of copyrighted work.
