Artistic Mural Installation on Concrete Retaining Wall - The Springs Resort & Spa

We are seeking an experienced artist or artist team to design and install a large-scale, site-specific mural on a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall located in Pagosa Springs. The goal is to transform a utilitarian structural element into a visually compelling, place-based work of art that enhances the surrounding environment. The selected artist will be responsible for concept development, design, and execution. We are open to a range of artistic approaches, including but not limited to: - Painted murals (acrylic, mineral paint, or other durable exterior systems) - Relief or sculptural applications - Mixed media installations - Integrated materials such as metal, corten steel, tile, or stone. The artwork should be highly durable, weather-resistant, and appropriate for a high-altitude mountain climate with strong sun exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, and seasonal variation.
