About This Call
Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) provide support for individual artist projects in the Visual, Performing, Literary and Media Arts. These categories encompass experimental/emerging fields, cross-disciplinary and traditional/folk art. Examples of artist projects include the development, completion or presentation of new work; publication; travel for artistic research or to present or complete work; documentation of work; and advanced workshops for professional development.
Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) is limited to artists that are residents of Washington State. Work sample requirements: up to 10 images, up to 3 audio files, and up to 3 video files (maximum 13 total samples). The Literary Arts category does not require visual work samples.
