Artist Trust Fellowship 2013

Artist Trust Fellowships are awarded in two-year cycles. The 2013 Fellowships are open to generative artists residing in Washington State (USA) working in the disciplines of Folk/Traditional Arts, Emerging Fields/Cross-disciplinary Arts, Visual Art, and Performing Art. Fellowships for artists working in Craft, Literary Arts, Media Arts, and Music Arts will be available in 2014. Generative artists are defined as the originators of works of art.

Eligibility requirements include: only one application per artist; recipients of Fellowships from Artist Trust between 2005–2012 are not eligible to apply in 2013. Applicants should apply to the category that best describes their work. Artist Trust staff may review materials submitted and make the final determination regarding eligibility and category for review.

Work sample requirements: maximum 10 images, maximum 3 audio files or maximum 3 video files, for a total of maximum 13 samples. Artists submitting only manuscripts do not need to submit other work sample types. Categories include Emerging Fields & Cross-Disciplinary Arts (Technology-mediated arts, Environmental Design, Interactive and Immersive Installation, Sound Art, Cross-Disciplinary Arts, Other); Performing Arts (Costume Design, Set Design, Theatre Performance, Dance-Based Performance, Musical Theatre, Performance Art, Playwriting, Spoken Word, Storytelling); Traditional & Folk Arts (Craft, Visual Art, Choreography, Dance, Performance, Music); and Visual Arts (Drawing, Illustration, Installation, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture).
