The Rubber Moldmaker is a skilled craftsperson responsible for producing rubber molds used to create wax patterns in the investment casting (lost wax) process. Working within established quality standards, this position requires proficiency in mold fabrication techniques. The Rubber Moldmaker plays a critical role in ensuring that wax patterns meet precise dimensional and surface-finish requirements before investment, directly affecting the quality of finished metal castings. This is a contract position; compensation is per the quote provided by the moldmaker, and a formal Request for Bids (RFB) will be issued to qualified candidates.
