Artist Journals

Kat Payge Art is hosting an art journal exhibition at their gallery located on the Art District on Santa Fe in Denver. To be included in the exhibit, work must have both visual and written components. This will be a public display, so artists should select pages or journals they do not mind others reading.

Artists may submit 1-3 art journal pieces. Only artist journals will be accepted, but artists are encouraged to be creative. Kat Payge is particularly interested in finding 3D artists who use journals to work out their projects or other diverse practices. The juror is Kat Payge, a painter and mixed media artist with 20 years of experience who has juried exhibitions, been juried into countless exhibitions, and hosted exhibitions.

Artwork must be ready to hang and wired; sawtooth hangers will not be accepted. Art must not be shipped with packing peanuts or it will be returned immediately. All artwork must include a return shipment label and packaging. The entry fee is $30. Deadline for submissions is February 6, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Artists will be notified of acceptance by February 8. All artwork must arrive by February 22, with the exhibition opening on March 1. Gallery address: 834 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO 80204.
