About This Call

The annual Gold Rush Days & Artisans' Fair celebrates Wickenburg's heritage as a ranching and gold mining center. Held in Wickenburg's historic downtown, this year marks the event's 77th anniversary and is recognized by the Library of Congress as one of America's Living Legacies. The fair will draw tens of thousands of visitors during the 3-day event.

The Artisans' Fair is a juried event featuring over 136 artists creating unique, finely crafted, and original works of art. The Wickenburg Art Club, a local non-profit organization offering art education, exhibitions, and community outreach, sponsors this event as their largest annual fundraiser. Artists may exhibit work only in the category for which they were juried, and all work must be original art produced by the artist. Mass-produced, commercially produced, imported items, food products, and items made from kits are not allowed. CBD products, lotions, and soaps will not be accepted. Each exhibiting artisan must apply, pay a non-refundable $35 application fee, and be juried. Applications must include four images: three of the artwork to be displayed and one booth shot representative of the artwork. Two artisans may share a space, but both must apply, pay the application fee, and be juried.

Amenities include best of booth cash prizes, booth sitting for artisan relief, complimentary Friday morning continental breakfast, help with load-in and load-out on a first come first serve basis, town maps and information, 136 spaces at competitive prices, Citizens' Patrol security from 7:00 pm Thursday through 7:00 am Sunday, PR marketing and advertising, Wi-Fi throughout the grounds (may be limited in some areas), designated vendor and trailer parking, and a three-day Town of Wickenburg Sellers Permit included in the space fee. Electricity is not available but may be available by special arrangement. Show hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Sunday. Artists must be present in their booth during the entire festival. An Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax License is required and must be on file before the event starts. All accepted and confirmed artists must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the Town of Wickenburg as Certificate Holder and additionally insured with endorsement to [email protected] upon receipt of booth payment.
