Artful Conglomerations

Artful Conglomerations is an exhibition for 2-D and 3-D assemblage, upcycled, and mixed media work. Core New Art Space invites all artists working with any mediums (except video and installations) who create work that finds its joy in artful conglomerations—whether scavenging for parts and pieces in unusual places, repurposing materials, or integrating them into inventive configurations.

Entries must be submitted electronically by June 14, 2025, with a $35.00 entry fee for up to 3 works. Artwork must be completely dry and no larger than 60 inches on its longest side, including frame. Wall and suspended art must have suitable means for hanging (no sawtooth hangers). Standing art must be stable. Judging will be based on overall impact, content, composition, mastery of techniques, creativity, and craftsmanship. The juror is Deborah Jang, a Colorado artist working primarily in assemblage and a BFA graduate from the University of Colorado.

Accepted artists will be notified by June 18, 2025. Artwork must arrive by Saturday, July 5, 2025, by 4 pm. The exhibition runs Friday, July 11 through Sunday, July 27, 2025, with an artist reception on Friday, July 11, from 5:00-9:00 pm. Core charges a 30% commission plus tax on art sold, with payment rebated within 45 days of the show's close. Artists must be 18 or older. Each artist is responsible for their own insurance.
