ArtFest 2026

May 29-31, 2026, ArtFest is proudly presented by the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC). This 3-day open-air art festival is located on the museum's campus in the historic Browne's Addition neighborhood of Spokane, providing a beautiful community gathering place where fine artists showcase their work to art-lovers from throughout the PNW. The festival features plenty of beautiful shade, full museum exhibition access, food trucks, locally crafted beer and wine, live music and entertainment, and hands-on activities for kids of all ages.

ArtFest is committed to supporting artists in the region and beyond. The museum takes no commission; all sales go directly to artists. Artists receive 24-hour security, booth-sitting services, free admission to the museum, and an artists' dinner the night of set-up. The application fee is $50, with 6 images required including a booth shot. Emerging artists are accepted.

The jury process is blind, with applications remaining anonymous during review. The jury consists of 5 museum/festival staff plus at least one regional artist, scoring based on originality, design, technical proficiency, and craftsmanship. Media categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing, emerging artist, fiber art, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metalwork, mixed media, music/instruments, painting, photography, printmaking, and wood. All work exhibited must be original art produced by the artist, and artists must be present during the show.
