Art Without Bounds Exhibition

This exhibition welcomes all mediums, including 2-dimensional work such as watercolor, water-based, oil-based media, mixed media, photographic media, and computer-based media intended to be hung on the wall, as well as 3-dimensional work such as sculpture, pottery, glass, wood, and jewelry intended to be viewed from multiple angles.

All work must be original and hand delivered and picked up at the Black Swamp Arts Center, 210 N. Defiance St., Archbold, OH 43502. Work must be labeled with the artist's name, phone, title of work, medium, and price taped to the back or bottom. All 2-D hanging work must be framed, wired and ready to hang (no saw tooth hangers). Wrapped canvases must be finished with painted edges. Works intended to be displayed on a BSAC pedestal must not exceed 16" in width. Artist-owned pedestals must accompany any 3-D work exceeding 16" in width not intended to be shown from the floor. All work must fit through a standard door and be easily moved by two people. Artwork size, including frame, may not exceed 48 inches on the longest edge.

Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork itself with no visible matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of April 30, 2025. Awards include Best of Show ($200), 3 Outstanding Awards ($100 each), 3 Honorable Mentions ($50 each), and People's Choice Award ($50). For questions, contact [email protected].
