Applicants must live in Marin County or within reasonable commuting distance. The residency runs from September 2020 through August 31, 2021. Applications require 5 to 10 images and/or a website, a statement of up to 2,000 words introducing yourself as an artist, responses to required questions about how you envision using the space and how association with the Art Works Downtown community would benefit you, and one recommendation from an arts educator, gallerist, or arts professional. There is no cost to apply. Award will be announced in July 2020, and applicants will be notified via email.
