Art St. Louis XXXVII, The Exhibition

Art Saint Louis presents "Art St. Louis XXXVII, The Exhibition," the 37th annual juried exhibition featuring artworks in all media, themes, subjects, techniques, and styles.

Eligibility is open to artists 21 years of age and older living in the St. Louis, Missouri region and surrounding 200-mile radius. Artists must be residents of the St. Louis region/200-mile radius when the show begins on November 6, 2021. The entry deadline is August 16, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fees are $20 for Art St. Louis members and $40 for non-members. Artists may submit 1-10 images and up to 5 videos (maximum 10 total samples). Artworks must be created or completed between 2018-2021 and not previously exhibited in any juried exhibit in the St. Louis region during the 6 months prior to the exhibit dates or in any Art Saint Louis Gallery exhibit.

The juror is Dana Turkovic, Curator at Laumeier Sculpture Park, St. Louis. The jurying process is conducted blind/anonymously, with the juror viewing only artwork titles, years, media, dimensions, display methods, and optional artist statements. Awards of Excellence will be selected, including one $250 Best of Show Award of Excellence and four non-cash Awards of Excellence. Up to 3 Honorable Mentions will also be awarded. Award of Excellence recipients will be eligible for the "Honor Awards 2023" ten-artist curated exhibit presented at Art Saint Louis, June 10-July 13, 2023.

The exhibition is presented at Art Saint Louis, 1223 Pine Street in downtown St. Louis, MO, with exhibition dates November 6-December 16, 2021. The gallery is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-2 p.m., closed Sundays and holidays. A free reception and awards ceremony will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021, 5-7 p.m. Artwork specifications include: limit of 5 original artworks, final installation size not exceeding 72"w x 72"h (including frame), weight limit of 30 lbs for 2-d wall-installed works, 2-d works must be framed or have pre-approved alternate professional presentation, no ceiling-installed or floor-sitting works, and all wall-installed works must hang from standard picture hanging hardware.
