Art Squared 2025

Art Squared 2025 is an annual fundraising exhibition at Metro Art Studios in Bridgeport, Connecticut. All works must be square, between 10" x 10" and 14" x 14" (including frame), and will be priced at $100, $200, or $300 each. Artists receive 50% of sales proceeds, with the remaining 50% supporting Metro Art Studios' mission. Artwork in all wall-hung mediums is acceptable and must be ready to hang on one nail. The exhibition runs November 8 to December 12, 2025, and opens during the city-wide Bridgeport Art Trail, which draws close to 2,000 visitors to Metro Art Studios throughout the weekend.

Metro Art Studios is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in the South End of Bridgeport in a renovated corset factory. The organization houses 38 loft studios for professional musicians and visual artists, as well as Crown Gallery, which hosts 6-7 exhibitions annually. Metro supports local, regional, and national artists through professional development workshops and panels, and provides cultural experiences to the Greater Bridgeport area.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older. Entries must be original works entirely created by the entrant without instructor supervision. Copies or works based on copyrighted artworks by others are not eligible. Accepted works must be dropped off in person on October 25, 2025, from 1-3 PM. There is no entry fee. Submit up to 3 original works online at callforentry.org with one image per work. Notification of accepted work: October 20, 2025. Unsold work pickup: December 13, 2025, 1-3 PM. Artists will be paid for sold works within 30 days after the exhibition closes.
