Art Splash 2026

Join us on July 17th and July 18th, 2026, for the third annual ART SPLASH! This unique and diverse art experience in Cheboygan, MI features a juried fine art show and a creative maker's market, along with numerous art-related activities including onsite workshops and live music. The event will be open to the public on Friday, July 17, from 1:00-7:00pm and on Saturday, July 18, 10:00am-4:00pm. This two-day juried fine art festival will be held on a public, grassy lot on Main Street in Cheboygan, just steps away from the Saturday morning Farmer's Market which runs concurrently.

Prizes will be awarded on July 18th: best in show $300, 2nd place $200, and 3rd place $100. The Creative Maker's Market will be held adjacent to the juried art section. We are looking for a variety of creative artists and makers with requirements that you make your products (no buying and reselling), no independent distributors, no items with blatant copyright infringement issues, and artists refrain from products with offensive messages or imagery. Artists will be juried throughout the application process and receive an answer within one week.

The non-refundable early-bird application fee (through 4/1/26) is $25, and the late application fee (4/2/26 – 7/1/26) is $35. Juried art booths are $200 and maker's booths are $100, in addition to the application fee. Booth spaces are 10'x10' with 3' in between. Coffee, donuts, and bottled water will be provided for participants, and volunteers will be available for booth sitting up to 15 minutes for bathroom breaks. Booths must be fully operational by 12:00 pm on Friday, and vendors must stay for both days.
