ART & SOCIAL JUSTICE: Art For the People, By the People II

Ellington-White Contemporary Gallery invites submissions for its second annual ART & SOCIAL JUSTICE national juried exhibition, running May 1 - June 19, 2021. This exhibition consists of two parts: a physical gallery exhibition and an online exhibition. All selected artwork will exhibit online, and the exhibition juror will select works to be exhibited in the gallery.

Eligibility is open to all professional artists 18 years and older. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Ellington-White Contemporary. Artists may submit a maximum of three original works of art. Size of work may not be smaller than 12" x 12" or larger than 48" x 60" including frame. All works must be properly framed, wired and ready to hang. No saw tooth hangers. All works must be sturdy enough to withstand handling; works requiring extraordinary installation will be declined. Media accepted includes all 2D and 3D works. Entry fee is $30.00 per submission (non-refundable). Awards include cash awards, a People's Choice Award, and Honorable Mentions. A 30% commission applies to all sales.

Online image submissions are accepted via CaFE (Call for Entry) beginning February 23, 2021 through April 5, 2021 at midnight (Pacific Standard Time). Submit 1-3 images without borders or text info that is not part of the original work. Accepted works must arrive ready to be installed by April 23, 2021. Shipped works should be sent to Ellington-White Contemporary, 113 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28301, packed in reusable containers (no styrofoam peanuts), via UPS, USPS or FedEx with prepaid return-shipping label.
