Art Saint Louis XXXV, The Exhibition

Art Saint Louis XXXV, The Exhibition is the 35th annual juried exhibition featuring artworks in all media, themes, subjects, techniques, and styles. The exhibition is open to artists 21 years of age and older living in the St. Louis, Missouri region and surrounding 200-mile radius. Artists must be residents of the St. Louis region/200-mile radius when the show begins on November 9, 2019, in order to submit work and participate if selected.

The exhibition will be held at Art Saint Louis Gallery, 1223 Pine Street in downtown St. Louis, MO, from November 9-December 23, 2019. A free reception and awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, 5-7 p.m. The juror is Jason Bly, artist and art educator at Midwestern State University. Awards include one $250 Best of Show Award of Excellence and four non-cash Awards of Excellence. All five award recipients will be eligible for the "Honor Awards 2020" ten-artist curated exhibit presented at Art Saint Louis, June 13-July 16, 2020.

Entry deadline is August 12, 2019 (11:59 p.m. MST). Entry fees are $40 for non-members and $20 for Art Saint Louis members. Submissions must include 1-10 images and up to 5 videos (1-10 total samples). Artists may submit up to 5 original artworks created/completed between 2016-2019. Works must not have been previously exhibited at Art Saint Louis Gallery or in any juried exhibit in the St. Louis region during the 6 months prior to the exhibit dates. All artworks must fit through the gallery's standard-sized front door. 2-D works must be framed or pre-approved alternate presentation. Size limits: final installation size not to exceed 6' wide or 7' high/tall (including frame). Weight limit for 2-D works: 30 lbs maximum. 3-D work/sculpture must be pedestal-displayed or wall-hung.
