Art Saint Louis XXXII, The Exhibition

Art Saint Louis XXXII, The Exhibition is a juried exhibition featuring artworks in all media, techniques, styles, and themes. The exhibition will be held at Art Saint Louis Gallery in downtown St. Louis, MO from November 12 to December 22, 2016, with a free reception on Saturday, November 12, 2016, 6-8:30 p.m.

Eligibility is open to artists 21 years of age and older living in the St. Louis, Missouri region and surrounding 200-mile radius. Submissions are limited to 5 original artworks completed between 2013-2016. Works must not have been exhibited in any juried exhibit in the St. Louis region during the 6 months prior to the exhibit dates or previously exhibited at Art Saint Louis Gallery. 2-D works must be framed or pre-approved presentation, with final installation size not exceeding 6 feet wide or 7 feet high including frame. 3-D works must be pedestal-displayed or wall-hung sculpture. No ceiling-installed work, installation works, or artworks sitting directly on the gallery floor are permitted. All works must hang by standard picture hanging hardware and cannot be nailed, pinned, tacked, taped, velcroed, painted on, glued, or adhered directly to gallery walls.

Entry fees are $45 for non-members and $25 for Art Saint Louis members. Submissions require 1-10 images (JPEG format, minimum 1920 pixels on longest side, 72 ppi, 5MB maximum) and up to 5 videos. The juror is Ann Coddington, Associate Professor at Eastern Illinois University. Five cash Awards of Excellence will be selected: one $250 Best of Show Award and four $100 Awards of Excellence. Award recipients are eligible for the Honor Awards 2017 curated exhibit (June 17-July 20, 2017). All artworks must have a sale price or be marked Not for Sale with an insurance value. Art Saint Louis retains 30% commission on sales with 70% to the artist.
