Art Quilt Elements 2020

AQE 2020 is the 14th International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Art Quilts, held at Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania from March 29 to May 2, 2020. The exhibition will be displayed in both the Davenport and Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Galleries. Jurors are Lewis Knauss, Amy Orr, and Robin Schwalb.

Artists must be 18 years of age or older and may submit up to three works per application, with a maximum of six images to show alternate views or details. Works must be original in design (collaborative works accepted), completed within the last two years (after January 1, 2018), and not previously exhibited at Wayne Art Center. All work must be for sale and remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. The entry fee is $45 per application. Image specifications require JPEG or JPG format, minimum 300 dpi, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, and file size under 5 MB.

The entry deadline is October 13, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of accepted or declined work will be sent by email on October 23, 2019. Shipping and hand-delivered work should arrive March 23-25, 2020 between 10am-5pm. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a pre-paid return shipping label. Wayne Art Center will insure work for 60% of its retail value while on premises. The opening reception is Sunday, March 29, 2020 from 3-5pm. Work retrieval is May 4-6, 2020. Wayne Art Center retains a 40% commission on sales.
