Art on the Square 2026 - 60th Annual

ART ON THE SQUARE is a juried show dedicated to providing original, high quality, handcrafted and diverse mediums of art. The 60th Annual event will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 10am to 5pm in beautiful Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, next to the College of William and Mary. Typically featuring over 100 artists, it is free and open to the public and attracts thousands of residents and returning tourists with strong buying energy.

Approximately 100 artists will exhibit at the 2026 event. Jurying is conducted by a panel of four experienced art professionals in a "blind" jury process based solely on images presented. Artists submit 3 images of work plus 1 booth image. Application fee is $35 (non-refundable) and booth fee for a 10' x 10' space is $200. Applications are due January 16, 2026 at midnight EST, with notification by email on February 15, 2026.

First place awards of $250 are given in each media category, including Ceramics, Painting/Drawing, Jewelry, Photography, Three-Dimensional/Sculpture (Fiber, Glass, Metalworks, 3-D Mixed Media, Wood), and Additional Two-Dimensional (Digital Art, Graphics, Printmaking, 2-D Mixed Media). Proceeds from artist booth fees are donated to visual and performing arts organizations throughout the greater Williamsburg area and support the Junior Woman's Club's Arts Scholarships program.
