Art on the Mall 2026

Art on the Mall is a two-day outdoor art fair presented by the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo in its 40th year. The event features local and regional artists selling original art in various media including jewelry, pottery, sculptures, garden art, and more, along with art demonstrations and live entertainment.

The fair takes place on the downtown Kalamazoo Mall from Michigan Avenue to South Street, and from South Street past the Kalamazoo Public Library to Farmers Alley. The event runs Friday, June 5th from Noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 6th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Approximately 65 booth spaces are available, each 12' x 12' (tents cannot exceed 10' x 10'). Artists who do not exhibit on Friday will not be allowed to exhibit on Saturday.

Accepted media categories include 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Drawing/Pastels/Prints, Fiber/Leather, Glass, Jewelry (Non-Precious and Precious), Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood. The application fee is $20. All work must be original design of the artist, with no more than 25 percent reproductions allowed (reproductions of the artist's own work only). The artwork exhibited must match the quality, balance, scope, and volume of images submitted to the jury. Artist hospitality includes coffee, water, pastries, booth sitters, and access to indoor restrooms at the adjacent Epic Center.
