Art on the Lake 2025

Art on the Lake is an art show held to promote and support the amazing pieces of work artists in the community have created. The event takes place at Russell Crossroads, the heart of the Russell Lands community, Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. It will be held in conjunction with RXR Fest on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24 from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM at The Town Green at Russell Crossroads, 17 Russell Farms Road, Alexander City, AL 35010.

The show is open to all artists and designers, with vendors reviewed and chosen by the Art Show Jury Committee. All work must be original, and accepted mediums include drawing, furniture, painting, photography, glass, pottery, wood, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, printmaking, textiles, candles/soaps, and other categories. Artists must submit three appropriate images showcasing their work through the ZAPPlication platform. Booth fees are $150 for single booth (10' x 10'), $290 for double booth (10' x 20'), and $430 for triple booth (10' x 30'), with power available for $15. All booths will be located underneath event-size tents.

The application deadline is Monday, May 5, with a $40 late fee for applications submitted after the deadline. Artists must be present for the entirety of the show and are responsible for collecting and paying 6% sales tax. Reproductions of original work are permitted but must not exceed 25% of total products offered for sale. The show will be held rain or shine, with Russell Crossroads security on-site nightly from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
