Art on the Fox Algonquin 2027

Amdur Productions presents the 7th Annual Art on the Fox Algonquin, a juried art festival in Algonquin, a progressive community located 40 miles northwest of Chicago along the Fox River with a population of 30,000. The festival features a large multi-layered marketing plan with print and digital advertisements, radio, posters, social media, and direct mail. Amdur Productions staff provides on-site support throughout the festival, including booth sitting assistance and overnight security.

Eligibility: All artwork must be created by the accepted artist(s) and be for sale. Artists may apply in multiple categories but not twice in the same category. Jewelry must feature original casts made by the artist. Photography and digital art must be original work made by the photographer, with printing done by the photographer or under their supervision. Limited editions (hand-manipulated and numbered up to 500) are allowed, as are reproductions by mechanical techniques up to 500 copies. AI-created art is permitted if clearly identified and juried on body of work, artistic theme, technical competence, and originality. Collaborations of up to two artists are allowed if clearly noted. Buy/sell items and work made solely by apprentices or employees are prohibited.

Key dates: Early bird application promo through November 30, 2026; applications due January 18, 2027; notifications February 18, 2027; late applications accepted February 19, 2027 and thereafter; registration forms and show fees due March 18, 2027; late registration fees apply March 19, 2027 and thereafter; last day for refunds (less $50) April 1, 2027. Booth spaces available: 12' wide by 10' deep at $495 or 20' wide by 10' deep at $990; corner fee upgrade $100. White tents required. Saturday morning load-in with nearby vehicle parking available. Equipment rental (tents, weights, tables, chairs), professional panel walls, and setup/takedown assistance available for additional fees. Hotel discounts provided through Amdur Productions.
