Art on Paper

Art on Paper is an international juried art exhibition at Site:Brooklyn, a gallery dedicated to exhibiting contemporary artists' current practice. The exhibition runs January 18 – February 16, 2019, with an opening reception on Friday, January 18 from 6-9 PM.

This open call seeks artists 18 years or older working in 2-dimensional media including drawing, painting, printing, photography, collage, and assemblage. The entry fee is $35 for up to three images, plus $10 for each additional image (minimum 3, maximum 12 images). Only original works may be submitted. The juror is Rebecca Lax, Senior Specialist in Contemporary, PWC and Prints & Multiples at Artnet auctions in New York City.

Accepted artwork must be suitably framed to professional standards (using Plexiglas except for hand-delivered work under 24" x 30"), with maximum dimensions of 60" x 60" x 6" D. All work must be wired or have cleat attachment and ready for hanging. Artwork must be priced for sale, and Site:Brooklyn retains a 50% commission on all sales. Shipped work must arrive between December 11, 2018 and January 4, 2019. Hand-delivered work can be delivered January 5-6, 2019 from 12:00-5:00 PM. Hand-delivered artwork must be picked up February 18-19, 2019 from 12:00-5:00 PM. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and insurance. Notification of acceptance will be made by December 4, 2018.
