About This Call
1202 Contemporary is producing an online exhibition celebrating The Art of Clay, prioritizing artworks that push the bounds of the medium and artists who employ untraditional methods. This is an online-only show featured on Artsy and the gallery website (www.1202contemporary.com), with additional promotion on Instagram and Facebook.
The exhibition accepts images and video submissions. Video must be provided as a link if the artist wishes to include it in the show. Artworks do not have to be for sale to participate. Works offered for sale are subject to a 15% commission if sold through the gallery website, or 28% commission if sold via Artsy.
Entry fee is $25.00 plus a $10.00 media fee. Submit 1-3 work samples (images, audio, or video). Applications must include a short bio and artist statement. All artists are welcome to apply. Entry deadline: August 18, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Exhibition dates: August 31, 2024 - November 18, 2024.
