Selected artists will showcase their work in Imurj's Main Gallery in a traditional gallery setting. Overflow works may be displayed at A Place at The Table as a sister exhibition. For print artists, Imurj will carry a selection of works as prints in their shop.
Artists of all mediums from the United States are eligible to apply. 2D artists may submit up to two works with a maximum size of 50 inches in either dimension; all works must be wired to hang from the gallery cable system. 3D artists (sculpture, costume design, etc.) may submit up to two works with a maximum size of 50 inches in any direction; works on pedestals or tables have a maximum weight of 90 lbs, and hanging works have a maximum weight of 60 lbs. Costumes must provide their own mannequin or display item. Video and digital-only works will be added to a slideshow with monitors and/or headphones provided. Print artists may apply to sell prints in the shop (up to 10 copies of each work for a total of 20). The application fee is $25. Financial hardship waivers are available upon request.
