About This Call
The Newport Artists Collective is accepting entries for ART NEWPORT's Juried Fine Arts Show, a premier indoor exhibition showcasing original works across diverse media. The three-day event will be held at Newport Harbor Island Resort in Newport, Rhode Island, with each accepted artist receiving a professional 10' x 10' booth in a climate-controlled venue overlooking Newport Harbor.
Eligibility and Requirements: Open to all artists 18 years and older. Accepted media include painting, sculpture, photography, works on paper, and mixed media. All artwork must be original and created solely by the applying artist; no reproductions, painted giclee prints, or AI-generated work permitted. 2D work must be framed, gallery-wrapped, or have finished edges with proper hanging hardware (no saw-tooth hangers, tape, or push pins). Works on paper must be framed under glass or acrylic glazing. 3D work must not exceed 100 lbs. All artwork exhibited must be consistent in style, quality, and presentation with pieces submitted in the application. Due to space limitations, only 50 artists will be accepted.
Deadlines and Fees: Application deadline is Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. Entry fee is $35 for non-members (Newport Artists Collective members are free). Booth fee is $300 upon acceptance. Notification of acceptance is Friday, January 23, 2026. In-person installation is Thursday, March 26, 2026. The special preview for MASTERS & MUSES BALL guests is Friday, March 27, 5-7pm. The show opens to the public Saturday, March 28, 10am-6pm. All entries must be submitted online through ArtCall.org with five artwork images and one booth image in JPEG format (minimum 1000 px on longest side). All exhibited work must be for sale, with artists receiving 90% of each sale and ART NEWPORT retaining 10%. Each booth includes professionally installed white walls, track lighting, one 8-ft table and chair upon request, and professional artist signage. Artists must be present during public hours and early teardown is not permitted.
