Art & Life

The Lab on Santa Fe invites artists to explore the relationship between art and life through this exhibition. The call asks: How do art and life mirror each other in your work? Is there resistance between them? How do we see your life within your art and your art within your life? The Lab is interested in where artists begin and how this launches their distinct style, seeking work that radiates the human condition—visceral, intellectual, and direct from the heart.

Accepted artwork will be displayed in the center of the Santa Fe Art District during two First Friday events. The exhibition runs from December 20, 2024 to February 8, 2025.

Eligibility is limited to local Colorado artists. Entry fee is $33.00. Submit 1-3 images of your work. Measurements must be accurate on the application, including framed size; work that is 5 inches larger than stated dimensions may be turned away at drop-off. All pieces must have wire hangers attached to the back or have unpainted sides on stretched canvas.
