Art League of Hilton Head 2021 Biennale Exhibition

Art League of Hilton Head invites entries for the 2021 Biennale, its 27th National Juried Exhibition held every other year. The exhibition is open to US artists 18 years or older and accepts work across multiple media types including oil or acrylic, pastel, watermedia, photography, mixed media, three-dimensional, or all other. Over $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. All accepted works will be displayed at Art League Gallery inside the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, from May 4-26, 2021. Prize winners will be selected by juror Marc Hanson, a nationally known, award-winning landscape artist and Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America.

Each artist may enter up to three pieces of original artwork created within the last three years and never previously accepted into an Art League of Hilton Head juried show. Only one piece per artist will be accepted into the show. Entry fee is $35.00, with an additional $10.00 media fee for extra images. Submissions are juried from digital images (1-3 images required). All exhibited work must be for sale and priced with intent to sell; Art League of Hilton Head retains a 40% commission on all sales. Entries must be original in concept, composition, and execution. Giclées and jewelry art are not acceptable. All works must be quality framed and protected by Plexiglas where appropriate (glass only for pastel pieces), securely wired and ready for hanging. Pieces may not exceed 48" (length) x 60" (height) including frame or weigh more than 50 pounds. Sculptures and three-dimensional art must not exceed 48" horizontal and 60" vertical or weigh more than 50 pounds. Shipped artwork requires a $20 handling and storage fee and a prepaid return shipping label. An Awards Reception will be held on May 7, 2021. Notification date is April 2, 2021.
