ART + INTERVIEW Los Angeles | Publication + Exhibition

Voz is a quarterly art and interview publication dedicated to highlighting contemporary arts and the examination of the artistic process. This open call is for the Fall 2024 Issue. Voz serves as both a visual and literary record for artists working today, amplifying their perspectives and creative expressions through insightful interviews and in-depth explorations.

Selected artists will participate in a 3-month exclusive exhibition listed on the gallery's website and Artsy platform, which attracts tens of thousands of unique views in addition to 2.5 million visitors to the Artsy platform. Artists will receive either a featured write-up or in-depth interview with full pictorial spread in the physical publication, plus a free digital copy of the issue. The Fall 2024 Issue will be sent for catalog and collection at both LACMA's Balch Art Research Library and MFAH's Hirsch Library. Featured artists receive a detailed remittance statement with payment 5-7 business days after sale close and/or buyer payment finalization. Dama Gallery retains a 50% commission on sales.

Entry fee is $45 for 5 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images total). All mediums, genres, and applications are accepted. Work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own sole copyright. Framed artwork must be professional quality and ready to hang. Artists are responsible for providing adequate packing; the gallery covers shipping costs for buyers. Entries on or before August 18, 2024 are considered for the Fall 2024 Issue. Exhibition opens September 3, 2024 and closes November 30, 2025. Publication releases September 3, 2024. Entries are reviewed weekly with selections made throughout the month.
