About This Call
Art in the Pass invites artists to apply for the 28th annual juried fine arts festival to be held April 11 & 12, 2026 in Pass Christian, MS. The festival features 100 arts vendors spread throughout scenic War Memorial Park, a Mississippi Gulf Coast venue overlooking white sand beaches and beautiful gulf waters. For 28 years, Art in the Pass has attracted thousands of art patrons and approximately 10,000 visitors from throughout the region to this historic coastal community.
Artists may apply in multiple categories including ceramics/pottery, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, 2D mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking & digital art, sculpture, and woodwork. All work must be original and hand-crafted by the applicant. Applications require 4 images (3 of artwork, 1 of booth) and a $30 non-refundable jury fee per category. Booth fee is $250 for accepted artists, with additional options for corner booths ($30), electricity ($30), and Artist Priority Package ($50) available.
Cash awards include $500 for Best in Show plus automatic acceptance for 2027, and $250 for Best in each category with 10 or more exhibiting artists. Proceeds fund college scholarships for local art students and grants to area art programs. Artists receive a 10x10 exhibit space and must provide their own tent and display materials. The festival coincides with the Gulf Marine Education Festival on Saturday and features a student art show on Sunday.
