Art in the Park - Summer 2025

Peninsula Art League invites screened members to participate in the premiere of the Art Wall at the new Peninsula Metropolitan Park District (PenMet Parks) Community Recreation Center, with an accompanying art exhibit at the adjacent PenMet Parks Administrative Headquarters. Both venues are located on the PenMet Parks Campus at 2416 14th Ave NW, Gig Harbor, and offer expansive light-filled spaces for showcasing art.

Theme: Water. Artwork should speak to this genre, which encompasses tranquility, peace, purity and cleansing, yet can also symbolize nature's unpredictability and volatility. All entries must be original works of art completed within the last three years, not prints or copies, and must be for sale. Artists must be screened PAL members, 18 years or older. Entry fee is $30.00 for 1 to 3 pieces. Submissions deadline is April 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jurors will select artwork April 15-20, 2025, and selected artists will be notified by April 25, 2025. All artwork must be delivered to the venue by May 12, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. No mail delivery is accepted. A $50.00 storage/handling charge applies to artwork not picked up at the end of the exhibit. The exhibition runs June 1 - July 7, 2025. All sales are handled by the artist; no commission is charged by PAL or PenMet Parks.
