Art in the Park Market Common - October 10 and 11, 2026

Art in the Park has been a judged show since 1973, held in Market Common Valor Park, a treed park two blocks from the ocean in the center of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The show runs 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Booth spaces measure 10 ft x 10 ft. Entry fees are $140 for non-members and $125 for Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild members, plus a $10 non-refundable jury fee. If registering for multiple shows at once, only one jury fee is required. Artists who have already been judged may submit a check with the date of their previous show instead of reapplying. South Carolina sales tax (6%) must be collected and remitted by exhibitors. Setup takes place all day Friday before the show and Saturday morning before 9 AM. Space numbers are assigned 2 weeks prior to the show.

All work must be original and created by the displaying artist without purchased molds, kits, or commercial mass production processes. Reproductions are allowed but cannot exceed 50% of the total exhibit. Work must match photographs submitted to the jury. Displays must be neat and visible on all sides, with containers hidden. No drive-in trailers or vans, no storage on site, no spikes or screw downs. Vehicles are not allowed in the park. Exhibitors must remain at their displays and may not begin dismantling before 4 PM.
