About This Call
Art in the Park has been going on since 1973 as a judged show held outdoors at Market Common Valor Park, an upscale urban planned community in the center of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is the 53rd year of the event, taking place on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 4PM on April 12 and 13, 2025.
The show requires 4 images of work, 1 booth shot, and has no application fee. Entry fees are $140 per 10ft x 10ft space for non-WACG members ($125 for members) plus a non-refundable jury fee of $10 ($5 for members). Set-up takes place all day Friday before the show and Saturday morning before 9AM. All work must be original, created by the displaying artist without purchased molds, kits or commercial mass production processes. Reproductions are allowed but cannot exceed 50% of the total exhibit.
Artists must complete the jurying process and all work must match submitted photographs. Vehicles are not allowed in the park, and exhibitors cannot begin packing before 4:00 PM. Artists must collect 6% South Carolina sales tax and are responsible for obtaining sales tax licenses. Security is provided but exhibitors must take reasonable precautions. The show maintains a no refund policy once accepted and paid.
