Art in the Park Festival 2026 - Lanesboro Arts

The 45th annual Art in the Park fine art festival takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Sylvan Park in Lanesboro, Minnesota. Hosted by Lanesboro Arts, a multidisciplinary nonprofit with a 45-year legacy, this is southern Minnesota's longest running fine art fair. The festival features fine art booths and family art activities set among mature shade trees. Lanesboro is nestled in the heart of Bluff Country along the Root River in Southeastern Minnesota and was declared one of the country's "Top 12 Small Town Artplaces" in 2013 by Artplace America.

Art in the Park accepts applications in fine arts and crafts including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, metalwork, glass, fiber, paper, jewelry, wood, textiles, and mixed media. All items for sale must be original and unique work made by the exhibiting artist. Work made with commercial kits, imported for resale, or mass production are not accepted. Applications from food vendors or non-arts crafters are not accepted. There is no jury application fee for 2026. Early Career Artists must submit applications via the Lanesboro Arts website.

Booth fee is $120 per 12' x 12' space; double spots can be purchased for an additional $100. Artists supply their own tent and display materials. Electric hook-ups are not available and portable generators are not permitted. A Minnesota sales and use tax number is required for all taxable sales. Artist check-in begins at 6 a.m. on June 20th. The jury will limit the number of artists invited from any one particular discipline to maintain balance. 2026 prizes include $500 Best in Show, $150 Award of Excellence, and $100 Best Early Career Artist.
