About This Call
The 44th annual Art in the Park fine art festival takes place on Saturday, June 14th in Lanesboro, Minnesota from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the beautiful setting of Sylvan Park. Hosted by Lanesboro Arts, a multidisciplinary nonprofit with a 40+ year legacy, this is southern Minnesota's longest running fine art fair. The festival features fine art booths and family art activities among mature shade trees, attracting thousands of regional patrons each year.
The festival accepts applications in fine arts and crafts for original and unique work made by the applicant in painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, metalwork, glass, fiber, paper, jewelry, wood, textiles and mixed media. There is a $10 jury application fee (non-refundable). Applications from food vendors or non-arts crafters are not accepted. The jury limits the number of artists invited from any particular discipline to maintain balance.
Booth fee is $105 per 12' x 12' space, with double spots available for an additional $95. Artists supply their own tent and display materials. Electric hook-ups are not provided and portable generators are not permitted. All exhibitors must obtain a Minnesota sales and use tax number. 2025 prizes include $500 Best in Show, $100 Award of Excellence, and $100 Best Early Career Artist. The festival takes place rain or shine.
