Art in the High Desert 2026

Art in the High Desert is a premier juried fine art and craft show taking place August 28-30, 2026, at Riverbend Park on the banks of the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon. This is the 16th annual show, produced by active show artists and local art advocates through a non-profit organization. The show consistently ranks in the top 25 selling art shows in the nation, with 94% of surveyed patrons either having purchased art or planning to purchase. The goal is to help artists sell their work to a knowledgeable community of art patrons and visitors to Central Oregon.

The show features approximately 150 artist booths, all corner booths measuring 10x10 feet, with limited double booths available. Booth fees are $600 for single booths and $1200 for double booths. Artists may submit up to 10 applications in the same or separate media categories, with each requiring 6 images total: 5 images of work plus 1 booth shot. The jury fee is $45 ($35 early bird by December 15, 2025). Limited electricity is available for $80 per booth, and generators are prohibited.

The show takes place rain or shine at 3,600 feet elevation, and artists are responsible for protecting their work from weather conditions. Artists must provide a Certificate of Insurance with $1,000,000 minimum coverage by June 15, 2026. Oregon has no sales tax, and Art in the High Desert takes no commissions on work sold. Security is provided during closed hours, and new this year, offsite parking with daily shuttles will be available for artists and patrons.
