Art Flow 2019

Art Flow is a juried art exhibition for Louisiana artists only. The exhibition will feature 2-D and 3-D artwork by Louisiana artists displayed in venues across downtown Baton Rouge from March 8 – April 15, 2019 at participating local restaurants, museums, hotels, churches, government buildings, and businesses. The public is invited to view the works and vote for their favorite piece from March 15 – April 5, 2019. Winners will be announced at the Ebb & Flow Festival on April 6 – 7, 2019.

Artists may submit 3 works, with the option to submit up to 5 works for an additional $10 per image. Each submission must be represented by at least 1 image. Two-dimensional work cannot weigh more than 30 pounds and is limited to 10 feet of wall space. Sculptural work must generally be less than 50 pounds if the artist will not be present for installation. All work must be finished to museum quality and ready for gallery installation. Two-dimensional works must be framed or gallery wrapped with hanging wire attached. Three-dimensional work must be ready for gallery installation or, if outdoor, able to withstand inclement weather and temperature changes.

Prizes include: 1st Place (Juried) - $2,500; 1st Place (Public) - $2,500; 2nd Place - $1,500; 3rd Place - $500; and Honorable Mentions and Board Selected Award (non-monetary). The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge will take a 33% commission on all works sold. Accepted works must be installed between March 8-15, 2019 and de-installed by 5 p.m. April 16, 2019. A storage fee of $10 per day will be charged for any work left after April 16, 2019. Entry fee is $35.00.
