Art Festival at Brookgreen Gardens 2025

You are invited to apply to be a part of the 25th Annual Art Festival at Brookgreen Gardens. The festival will be held on April 26th and 27th, 2025, during peak flowering season at Brookgreen Gardens, located between Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This prestigious show has established a reputation for quality and diversity since its inception in 2001. The festival takes place on the grounds of one of America's premier gardens, designated a National Historic Landmark and visited by more than 370,000 visitors annually. Brookgreen Gardens has the largest collection of American figurative sculpture in the United States showcasing more than 2000 sculptures in a beautiful botanical garden.

This two-day event showcases fine craftsmanship and quality art being produced regionally and throughout the nation. Booths are located on natural landscape among majestic Live Oak trees in approximately 10 ft. by 10 ft. spaces. The booth fee is $250, with up to 80 booth spaces available. A limited number of booths will have electricity available for an extra fee. Categories include Basketry, Clay/Porcelain, Glass, Jewelry, Leather/Fiber/Wearable, Original Printmaking, Metal Work, Oil/Acrylic, Paper, Pen/Ink, Photography, Stonework, Watercolor/Pastels, Woodwork and Other.

Artists must submit five images along with a $35 non-refundable application fee per category. Four images must be of individual work, and the fifth must be a booth display showing the scope and presentation of the artist's body of work. Only original works of art made in the USA by the approved artist are allowed, and artists must be present with their artwork at the festival. Application deadline is February 18, 2025, with notification by February 20, 2025.
