Art Farm 2015

Art Farm 2015 is an exhibition opportunity open to artists 18 years or older and residents of Northern California. The exhibition consists of two parts: Art Harvest (non-juried, all entries accepted) and a Juried Exhibition. All artwork must be original and inspired by the farms and farmlands, open spaces, food and bounty, and agriculture of Yolo County, CA. Artwork must have been created in the last two years and not previously shown in an Art Farm Exhibition.

Artists may submit one work to Art Harvest for a preset price of $225. Participation in the optional Juried Exhibition requires first submitting a work to Art Harvest. Juried Exhibition artwork will be sold in a silent auction with opening bids starting at 1/3 of retail value or an amount agreed upon by the artist. Artists have the option to receive 50% of proceeds or donate 100% of proceeds to the YoloArts Art and Ag Project. Artwork must be hand delivered to YoloArts Office (120 W. Main Street, Suite B, Woodland, CA) by September 8, 2015 between 9am-5pm. Juror is Diana Daniels, curator of contemporary art at the Crocker Art Museum. Awards total $2,250: Juror's Pick ($1,000), Blue Ribbon Artist ($500), Farmers Pick ($500), and People's Choice ($250).

Exhibition dates are October 1 - December 1, 2015 at Gallery 625 (625 Court Street, Woodland, CA). The opening reception is October 2, 5:30-8:30pm. The Art Farm Gala and awards presentation is November 6, 6:00-8:30pm at Hotel Woodland (436 Main Street, Woodland, CA). Artists pick up work on December 2 at 10:30am. Artwork must be 2D (wired and ready to hang, no sawtooth hangers) or 3D (for display cases), between 8"x10" and 36"x36" (framed). All artwork will be displayed on YoloArts' website and available for presale.
