Art Dash 2020

Art Dash is a one-night pop-up exhibition and sale event on Saturday, December 19, 2020, from 6-9pm at Beacon Gallery (524B Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118). The gallery will be open for an exhibition preview from 12-6pm. This juried exhibition of small works is designed to provide direct support to visual artists, with artists receiving 100% of sales proceeds.

All artwork is priced at $100. Each selected artist will have between 3 and 6 pieces on view. Gallery visitors will purchase work directly off the walls and take it home the same night. The event is open to all New England artists, or artists willing to drop off their work in person and attend the event. Artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of artwork. All works will be insured while on site for the full sale value.

Artwork must be 12x12 inches or smaller when framed (11x14 or smaller acceptable). Works must be ready-to-hang with wire or d-rings on the reverse, labeled with artist name and title. Both framed and unframed work are accepted; jewelry is not eligible. Artists may submit up to 6 pieces. Submission fee is $45. High-resolution .jpg images (at least 1200 pixels wide) are required for each artwork, along with title, medium, dimensions, and year completed. Selected artists will be notified by email on August 31, 2020. In-person work delivery is available December 13 (12-3pm) or December 16 (9-1am). Artists will receive payment within 30 days after the sale, along with buyer contact information. Jurors are Jessica Burko (Program Manager and Curator, Photographic Resource Center) and Christine O'Donnell (Owner & Director, Beacon Gallery).
