Art Competition "VIBRANT"

Art Mozaik Gallery is accepting entries for a juried art competition open to artists from all over the United States. The gallery seeks bright, bold colors and energetic compositions that showcase vibrant art full of life and movement. Works should capture the viewer's attention and evoke strong emotions through dynamic and alive pieces using vivid colors and lively designs to express joy, passion, and intensity. Selection criteria include uniqueness and originality, demonstrated excellence of technique, color and intensity, energy and movement, emotion and expression, diverse mediums and styles, and life and light.

Applications are accepted from living artists over the age of 18. All works must be original, for sale, and no larger than 320 square inches (preferably without frame). Accepted mediums include paintings in all mediums (oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, color pencil, mixed media), drawing, photography, and printmaking. No copies, diptychs, computer-generated work, or works produced as part of class instruction are accepted. Entries must not be copies or derivatives based on other copyrighted or published work. All accepted artworks must be ready to hang/display with proper hardware.

Entry fee is $45.00. Submission deadline is August 19, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification date is August 21-23, 2024. Artwork must arrive by August 28-30, 2024. Exhibition dates are September 1-30, 2024, with a reception on September 6, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. (first Friday). Unsold works pickup/return is September 30 - October 3, 2024 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.). Applicants must submit 1-3 images of their work.
