Art Basel Miami Weekend: Starry Night Exposure Program - Call for Entries

Starry Night is partnering with the SELECT Fair to curate, represent and support emerging and established artists during Art Basel Miami, which runs December 2-7, 2014. The Starry Night Exposure Program is dedicated to supporting, exhibiting and promoting artists seeking gallery representation, sales opportunities, and visibility within the contemporary art world. The program welcomes 2D, 3D and video artists.

All 2D works are accepted for consideration if dimensions are below 28" x 28". Some exceptions may be considered for 3D wall-hung works. Applicants must submit a current CV or artist resume (PDF/DOC), artist statement/bio, and up to 10 digital images of work. Filmmakers may submit a video instead of images, though stills are welcome. The application deadline is October 1st, 2014. Works must be received in Miami by November 30th, 2014. The exhibition runs December 2-7, with shipment or pickup of remaining artwork on December 8th.

The Exposure program includes end-to-end exhibition, portfolio creation, and catalogue presentation; exposure to thousands of serious buyers; access to collectors, dealers and gallerists; personal introductions to gallerists and dealers; non-exclusive representation; participation in exclusive VIP events; press release distribution to arts media; promotion through Starry Night social media and blog; promotion in the Starry Night Exposure Gallery; and the opportunity to sell work via the Starry Night Exposure Gallery on Amazon.com. The program takes 30% of sales, leaving artists with 70%. The total participation fee is $2,995, with monthly payment plans available. The application fee is $10.
